Luma Financial Technologies Appoints Rodney Branch as Chief Marketing Officer

Industry veteran to drive marketing and branding initiatives as structured products platform continues rampant expansion.

Cincinnati, OH, July 20, 2020 – Luma Financial Technologies (“Luma”), an independent, multi-issuer structured products and annuities platform, announced today that Rodney Branch has joined the firm as Chief Marketing Officer.  He reports directly to Tim Bonacci, President and Chief Executive Officer of Luma.

Based in the firm’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Branch will spearhead marketing and branding initiatives as Luma continues to expand its offerings to help financial advisors and allocators address the ever-changing needs of clients.

Mr. Branch joins Luma after spending time with Athene USA, Prudential Financial and Nationwide Financial, all where he was focused on supporting the annuities business through product and marketing solutions. More recently, Mr. Branch served as the Chief Marketing Officer for a human capital management software company where he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s marketing strategy and operations.

Mr. Branch earned a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Texas; he also holds FINRA security licenses Series 6 and 26.
