Nasdaq Fund Network, Luma, and Morningstar Team Up to Present New Innovations in Structured Product Capabilities

On Tuesday, June 14, the Nasdaq Fund Network (NFN), Luma Financial Technologies, and Morningstar hosted three panels to discuss how they are at the forefront of introducing new technological and analytical features that improve structured product growth and adoption, increase transparency, and revolutionize the way in which financial professionals transact these types of financial instruments.

For the first panel discussion, the speakers included Keith Strycula, Chairman and Co-Founder, Structured Products Association, Oliver Albers, Executive Vice President, Investment Intelligence at Nasdaq, Tim Bonacci, CEO and Founder of Luma Financial Technologies, Kevin Reed, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Morningstar.

For the second panel of the conference, Stephen Bodurtha, Luma board member and an adviser and instructor in Columbia University’s master’s in Wealth Management Program, moderated the discussion. The panelists included Florian Reiter, Head of Fixed Income Data and Analytics at Morningstar, Anil Varughese, head of Structuring and Origination for MLI and UNHW Solutions at Bank of America, and Brady Beals, director of Investment Solutions for Luma Financial Technologies.

For the third panel of the conference, Donald Pogan, Chief Strategy Officer from Luma Financial Technologies, served as moderator for the discussion on socializing structured products for adoption and delivering downstream value that changes investment behavior. The panelists include Guillaume Goussault, Head of Market Data for Yahoo! Finance, Peter Kerr, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Yieldstreet, as well as Todd Dilatush, Director of National Sales at Luma Financial Technologies.
