Joining Luma in 2022, Vaibhav Bhuva has stepped into the role of Chief Technology Officer. He has been pivotal in spearheading new initiatives, including a comprehensive overhaul of key platform components and strategic expansion of Luma’s presence into new markets.

Prior to joining Luma, Vaibhav spent an impressive 17-year tenure at Point72. First starting as a junior developer and progressively evolving into a seasoned leader as the Head of Trading and Compliance. His expertise extended across multiple technology teams, with a primary focus on trading, compliance, and research technology. Vaibhav’s places a strong emphasis on mentorship and fostering an environment where innovation and excellence thrive.

Vaibhav holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by a BE in Electrical Engineering from L D College of Engineering.
